1978
Foundation of UNITEC Fahrzeugteile and first trade with OEM spare parts exclusively for export commerce.
1985
Development and trade with rare-wood equipment for Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
1986
Development and trade with telephone consoles. The range of rare-wood equipment is enhanced by gear shift, gear-selector levers and handbrake levers made from various types of wood and colours. Separate series for many leading vehicle brands.
1988
First series order with Mercedes-Benz. Delivery of the compete range of rare-wood equipment of Mercedes-Benz's/Puch's G-model.
1990
Foundation of our affiliation in Ireland with our own wood production for equipment MB W 201 and W 124 which are rare-wood parts for the upgrade and G-model scale.
1991
Development and trade with aluminium rims. The product range is enhanced with plastic die-casting parts for SIEMENS.
1992
Transfer of headquarter to Stuttgart-Vaihingen because of increased floor space
1994
First rare wood serial order with BMW. Serial delivery for the BMW 3 series with consoles, ashtrays and handbrake levers.
1996
The product range is enhanced with aluminium interior parts and mud guards. First certification of our quality management systems corresponding to German DIN-ISO 90002.
1999
Second certification of our quality management system corresponding to DIN-ISO 9001 due to enhanced development.
2000
The product range is enhanced with grille panels made of die casting.
2001
Development of a new range of gear shift for various use for BMW. With SMG-Getriebe UNITEC is the exclusive supplier.
2002
Third certification of our quality management system corresponding to DIN-ISO 9001-9002. For the first time UNITEC'S grilles are assembled with General Motors. As their exclusive supplier we receive the order to manufacture all MINI gear shift with an annual volume of 200 000 bits.
2003
We enhance our development capacities by additional staff and a project manager.
2004
We move into our new premises because of 25 new employees and the maximised manufacturing concerning the gear shift production.
2005
We enhance our development capacities by another project manager. Development of a new range of gear shift for BMW'S various applications. The export of OEM spare parts is being ceased due to strategic reasons.
2007
UNITEC Fahrzeugteile GmbH celebrated has its 30th company anniversary
